Congratulations to the Final round of Skilling Queenslanders for Work trainees for 2023 on the successful completion of their 20-week course and graduation last week! A special acknowledgment goes out to the 3 trainees who have secured employment, marking the beginning of their journey into the workforce.
Throughout the duration of the 20-week program, the trainees dedicated their skills and knowledge to the restoration of the “Kurbingui Community Garden,” creating a special space for everyone to enjoy. If you find yourself in Kurbingui, make sure to visit the Community Garden to witness their incredible work firsthand.
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the support and contributions of the following and a special thanks goes to:
- Tore, Construction Trainee Supervisor
- Department of Youth Justice, Employment, Small Business, and Training
- BlueScope Orrcon Steel
- Centenary Landscapes
Thank you to Councillor Jarred Cassidy for being present to present each trainee with their certificates and always showing your support for Kurbingui.
Your commitment and collaboration have played a crucial role in the success of the program, contributing to the personal and professional development of these individuals. Once again, congratulations to the graduates, and best wishes for their future endeavours in the workforce!
