Indigenous Christmas Card Competition

Entries Close: 31st October.

The National Indigenous Australian Agency’s annual Christmas card competition is now open for primary school students across the country.

Each year, Christmas card artwork has been selected by inviting students at schools participating in the Remote Schools Attendance Strategy, but this year the competition is open for all young students nationwide to get involved.

“This year’s theme is Christmas in my community – it’s a wonderful chance for all young Australians to explore local Indigenous heritage, get creative and submit artworks inspired by the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures,” Minister Wyatt said.

The competition will be hosted on indigenous.gov.au and I will select a winner to receive a prize pack and to have their artwork featured on my 2021 card that goes to hundreds of people who dedicate themselves to improving the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Any student aged 5 to 12 years and who is enrolled in school can enter the competition.
