As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues we all have a role to play in stopping the spread within our community.

It is important that we take all the steps to keep our vulnerable community members safe, especially Elders and those with health conditions such as diabetes, renal disease, cardiac and respiratory issues.

It is just as important to take care of yourself by eating a healthy, balanced diet, getting regular physical activity, sleeping well and reducing stress. It is essential that you practice good hygiene, wear a mask when outdoors, follow social distancing rules and travel restrictions, get tested and self-quarantine if you are unwell.

Some people may recover easily from COVID19 and the various strains in our community whilst others may get very sick very quickly. Symptoms can include:

  • Fever
  • Flu-like symptoms such as coughing, fatigue and sore throat
  • Shortness of breath

If you are concerned you may have been exposed or may have COVID-19, please get tested straight away and self-isolate. Listed below is information and links to resources and services you may find useful.
