Youth Activities Programs

This project has a crime prevention focus focused at strengthening links for young people with their schools; family; social networks and connection to positive and healthy recreation. We are working developmentally with local youth in collaboration with other youth agencies to build a range of participation opportunities on Friday evenings for the 13-17 years age group.

  • A bi- annual community touch football match is played with local police as a means of improving relationships with Queensland Police.

  • Our Annual Black Diamonds camp at Emu Gully in September school break provides leadership skills for young people.

  • Engages with young people to participate in NAIDOC celebrations.

  • After school activities in public space.

  • Xmas holiday activities.

  • Kameleons Touch Footy team.
